##Admission Requirements
If you’re planning to apply to FUTD, here’s what you’ll need to have in place:

You must pay attention to the fact that you should select FUTD as your first choice in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME registration, or apply for a change to the institution if needed. 

You’ll need a minimum UTME/JAMB score of about 140–150 (depending on the session) to be eligible to apply for the Post-UTME at FUTD. 

You must have at least five credit passes in your O’Level examinations (WAEC, NECO or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. 

For your chosen course, you must meet any subject-combination requirements. For example: engineering courses will typically require credit in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. 

If you are applying via Direct Entry (DE), you’ll need relevant qualifications (such as ND, NCE or A-Level) as specified for your programme. 

Once you meet these, you’ll also need to register for the Post-UTME screening form when FUTD issues it and pass any screening exercise they administer. 

##Tuition / School Fees
Here’s what I found regarding the fees for FUTD (note: these are for the 2024/2025 session and may change):

For new students (2024/2025 session) across the engineering and management faculties: the cost is approximately ?245,000 to ?250,000 (depending on faculty). 

Example breakdown: For engineering faculty, totals around ?250,000; for management faculty, around ?245,000 for that session. 

For returning students, the costs may be lower, but please check the latest fee schedule for your year and faculty. 

Always check the official FUTD website or contact admissions for the exact current fee schedule, as fees can change and there may be additional charges (hostel, labs, etc).

##Cut-Off Mark
Here’s what to know about the cut-off marks at FUTD:

The general minimum UTME/JAMB cut-off mark for FUTD for the 2025/2026 academic session is reported as 140 points and above. 

Some sources state the figure as 150 for all courses in that session at FUTD. 

For departmental/course-specific cut-offs: many reports list 140 as the base cut-off for all courses (for example: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Railway Engineering etc) in FUTD for 2025/2026. 

Important: Meeting the minimum cut-off doesn’t guarantee admission — you still need to do well in screening, have good O’Level results, meet subject combinations, and there are limited spaces.
