##Admission Requirements
Applicants must have written the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME, and chose FUTIA as their first choice (or changed their choice accordingly) for the session.
For UTME entry: At least five (5) credit passes in O-Level (SSCE or equivalent) in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
Direct Entry (DE) candidates: The institution mentions DE screening in their admissions portal.
Applicants must meet the minimum UTME cut-off mark set by the university (see next section).
##Cut-Off Mark
For the 2025/2026 academic session, FUTIA’s general UTME minimum cut-off is 160.
Some sources earlier (possibly older session) list 140 as the minimum, but the majority recent official notices indicate 160.
You should aim above 160 to be reasonably competitive, especially in more demanding programmes.
Agriculture 160
Fisheries & Aquaculture 160
Forestry & Wildlife Management 160
Food Science & Technology 160
Computer Science 160
Software Engineering / ICT programmes 160
##Tuition / School Fees & Acceptance Fee
Acceptance fee for fresh students: ?20,000 (non-refundable) for the 2025/2026 session.
Undergraduate school fees vary by faculty and whether new or returning students. Some reported figures:

For 2024/2025: some faculties listed ?75,250 for certain programmes in the Faculty of Education etc.
A more general estimate: Fresh student fees ranged between ~ ?90,000 to ?150,000 depending on department (engineering vs applied sciences) as of older review.

Note: The fees are not purely “tuition” in isolation – they include other charges (departmental, registration, etc) and the figures vary by faculty and session.
