##Admission Requirements
To apply for undergraduate programmes at FUHSA, you’ll need to meet the following:
You must have taken the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME and chosen FUHSA as your first choice.
For 100-Level entry (UTME route): You need at least five (5) credit passes in your O’Level (SSCE or equivalent) in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at not more than two sittings.
For Direct Entry (200-Level): In addition to the SSCE credits, you’ll need two A’-level passes (or equivalent), or an ND with credit pass, or a good first degree in another field (for some programmes).
Be at least 16 years of age.
Meet any subject-combination requirements for your chosen programme (for example, sciences subjects if you’re going into medicine or allied health).
##Tuition / School Fees
Here’s a breakdown of what we know about the fees for FUHSA:
For the 2025/2026 session, fresh undergraduate students are expected to pay in the range of ?320,000 to ?450,000 per session.
For returning students (200 level and above) the fee range is about ?300,000 to ?350,000 for the same session.
Earlier estimates show a range of ~?150,000 to ?200,000 per year for undergraduates in some programmes, but the more recent figures are higher.

##Cut-Off Marks
Cut-off marks are the minimum scores you’ll need in JAMB (and often in the university’s screening) to be eligible. FUHSA has specified different cut-offs depending on the programme:
For the 2025/2026 academic session, the Senate approved the following:
MBBS and BDS Dentistry: 220 and above.
Nursing Sciences, Optometry, Physiotherapy, Radiography, BMLS and Audiology: 200 and above.
Nutrition & Dietetics; IT & Health Informatics; Environmental Health Sciences; Epidemiology & Biostatistics; Speech-Language Therapy; Occupational Therapy; Health Information Management; Public Health; Pharmacology: 160 and above.
Human Anatomy; Human Physiology; Biochemistry; Biotechnology; Microbiology: 150 and above.
Important to note: One source suggests a general JAMB minimum of 180 for most programmes at FUHSA.
For previous session (2024/2025) the cut-offs included: MBBS & BDS at 220; Nursing, Radiography, Optometry & Physiotherapy at 170; and other courses at 150.
