##Admission Requirements
For UTME (fresh entry) candidates:
You must have at least five (5) credit passes in your Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE/WAEC/NECO) or equivalent in no more than two sittings — and the credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
You should have chosen FUDMA as your First Choice (or sometimes Second Choice, but it’s always safer as First) in your Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME registration.
You must meet the UTME (JAMB) score minimum as set by the university (see cut-off section).
You’ll likely need to participate in FUDMA’s Post-UTME/Screening exercise after your UTME.
For many programmes you’ll also need the correct subject combinations (for example for some science/engineering courses). It’s wise to check your specific course for those details.
##For Direct Entry (DE) applicants:
If you are applying by Direct Entry (holding ND, NCE, IJMB, or similar advanced qualifications), you still need your O-level requirements (including English & Maths) plus the required grade/points in your advanced qualification (e.g., ND Lower Credit, NCE with required points).
##Tuition / School Fees
According to one source, the school fees for FUDMA (2023/2024 session) were around ?70,000 for all courses (both fresh and returning) for Nigerian students.
Another source lists wider “tuition” range for indigenous students at FUDMA: around ?120,000 - ?150,000 for undergraduates.
Because fees change each year and may differ by department (especially high-resource ones like engineering, medical/lab science), you should always check the university’s official site for the latest fee schedule.
##Cut-Off Mark
The university publishes a general minimum cut-off mark (for JAMB UTME) and departmental/ programme specific cut-offs.
For the 2025/2026 session, FUDMA’s general JAMB minimum cut-off mark is reported as 140 (i.e., “140 and above”) for most courses.
However, for more competitive courses certain higher minimums apply. For example:
Engineering programmes: around 160 or more.
Nursing Science, Radiography, etc: around 180 minimum in some cases.
Example departmental cut-offs for 2025/2026:
Accounting ? 150
Agricultural Engineering ? 160
Agriculture ? 140
Nursing Science ? 180
Important note: Meeting the cut-off mark only makes you eligible for admission. It does not guarantee admission. Your O-level results, subject combination, Post-UTME performance, departmental capacity and aggregate score also matter heavily.
