1. Nigerian Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko:
This is a federal institution established in 2018, located in Okerenkoko, Delta State. 2. Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU):

5. Dennis Osadebe University, Asaba (DOU):

6. Michael & Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU), Agbarha-Otor:

8. Edwin Clark University (ECU), Kiagbodo:

10. Western Delta University (WDU), Oghara:

11. Margaret Lawrence University, Galilee:
Margaret Lawrence University is among the newer private universities (established in 2022) in Delta State, located at Galilee. 12. Sports University of Nigeria, Idumuje-Ugboko:
