##Al-Istiqama University (AUSU) Cut-Off Marks for 2024/2025 Academic Session
Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU) has announced the minimum cut-off marks for admission into its various undergraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The general cut-off mark is 140. All aspiring students must score at least 140 in the JAMB UTME to be eligible to apply for admission into the university.

##Admission Requirements for 2025/2026 Academic Session
Admission into Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila is offered through two entry routes — UTME and Direct Entry (DE). Candidates must meet the general and specific requirements outlined below.

UTME Admission Requirements

Candidates applying through the UTME route must:

Score a minimum of 140 in the JAMB UTME examination.

Note: Some programs, particularly in the Faculty of Basic Health Sciences, may require higher scores.

Choose Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila as their first-choice institution during JAMB registration.

Candidates who did not initially select AUSU can change their institution via the JAMB Change of Institution process.

Obtain at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent examinations.

Sit for the correct UTME subject combination for their chosen course. Candidates with incorrect subject combinations may be considered for alternative programs.

Candidates awaiting NECO or WAEC results may apply, but they must ensure their results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS and the university portal before the admission deadline.

Direct Entry (DE) Admission Requirements

Candidates applying through the Direct Entry (DE) route must:

Possess any of the following qualifications from recognized institutions:

National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit.

Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least a Merit Pass.

GCE Advanced Level (A-Level) results with at least two passes in relevant subjects.

Any other equivalent qualification recognized by Al-Istiqama University.

Have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
